It reflects convenience, trustworthiness, and reliability. MediMate communicates uniformly across all groups but with personalized adjustments to cater to each audience’s needs. The tone remains consistent but will accommodate different learning styles and tech comfort levels, ensuring accessibility for all.

Older adults and individuals with chronic illnesses often struggle to take their medication on time and correctly leading to missed doses and irregular treatment. Factors such as complex schedules, cognitive challenges, physical limitations,
and lack of support contribute to this issue.

What are the most common reasons patients give for not taking medication as prescribed?

The most common reasons I hear are simply forgetting, especially if taking
many medications multiple times a day or if they are too busy. They also don't understand the instructions, or they run out of medicine and cannot get refills
in time.

One of the main challenges I face is ensuring patients take their medications correctly and on time. Many elderly patients have complex regimens and may struggle with memory issues or cognitive impairments, leading to missed or incorrect doses. Understanding medication instructions can be difficult due to cognitive or visual impairments, which complicates things.

The ones that I’m only scheduled to take every so often I find hard to remember when to take them compared to the ones I take daily.
